J.D. Vance: Renee Good's Death “A Tragedy of Her Own Making”

Addressing the White House Press Corps on Friday, 9 January 2026, a characteristically tone-deaf U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance rebuked reporters for “exploiting documentary evidence and accurate reporting to make ICE agents appear like bloodthirsty henchmen working for an evil overlord.”

“Elections have consequences! When Americans handed absolute power to President Trump, fully cognisant of the carnage he would unleash, they voted for an America where ‘tough guys’ would do whatever was necessary to keep b*tches in their place.”

Emphasising that every goon implementing the President’s wishes enjoyed absolute immunity, Vance exclaimed that Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Good, had displayed commendable restraint by not shooting “the other hag who was mouthing off at him.”

Vance also attacked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for “clearly exploiting the Trump administration’s monstrosity to score cheap points with their electorate” and for “stoking communal resentment against ICE through transparently tawdry sentimentality.”

“One thing that amazes me is how extremist liberals are able to imply that it is especially tragic that the deceased woman was a 37-year-old mother of three. While any loss of life is, in theory, a tragedy, if anything, it should be some consolation that the deceased woman had already lived out her prime reproductive years and produced three much-needed native White Americans,” Vance added, before highlighting what he portrayed as the absurdity of the public’s shock at Ross’ treatment of Good, given all “the barbaric sh*t he signed up to put the immigrants through.”
